Stone Bank mystery

Posted in History tagged , , at 11:45 am by stonebankblog

Well, well, well. Look what turned up in the basement at the Stone Bank – Bottineau. Why did all these sinks end up down there?

Four of the six sinks we found in the Stone Bank basement. Why so many?

Hmmm. What do you think? I’ll post the solution later today.

I think so many of them were in the basement because it would have been easier to carry them up and out if they were stacked by the front door like this — and then someone would have gotten rid of them decades ago 😉

    • BTW. Thanks for carrying them out of the basement. And then to the pickup, etc. You are a true champion of the Stone Bank!

They were going to turn it into a hotel?

What has become of these sinks now that they are out of the building?

    • We actually have all the sinks in storage — crazy, probably. But we didn’t want to be too hasty to get rid of them. Who knows how or when they could come in handy. Plus, those sinks are cool. We are trying to be “green” so we hope to find new uses for them.
