About the Stone Bank

The Stone Bank restoration is the first project of Touchstones, Inc., a North Dakota nonprofit.

Our goal in 2011 was to save this 1890s stone building from demolition. In 2012, we will work to find an adaptive re-use for this delightful Richardsonian Romanesque building.

The Stone Bank in Bottineau, ND

The Stone Bank dates to the 1890s and stands as a link to North Dakota's pioneers. It was built as Bottineau County Bank -- the county's first bank.
